In my last post we talked about the potential pitfalls of Artificial Intelligence. However its benefits can be quite incredible too.

Among my losses in the 2014 floods was a sketch drawn by a street artist in Times Square NYC. (Touristy, I know. But what to do?)

Some time before the ChatGPT era, when the online AI revolution was just starting, I chanced upon a grainy dark photo of the sketch in its custom handmade frame alongside other images I had lined up for a wall gallery.

Well, there was still an empty space on the wall where the sketch used to hang so I cropped and uploaded the photo to a free online AI restoration website without much hope of success.
But voila!

Amazing, Right?
