I have not read any books by this &#8216;New Age Guru&#8217; but it is hard to argue with the universality of his <strong>Four Agreements<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kashmirnetwork.com\/justju\/images\/four.jpg\" width=\"225\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a. Speak with integrity.<\/p>\n<p>b. Say only what you mean.<\/p>\n<p>c. Avoid using your word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others.<\/p>\n<p>d. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. DON&#8217;T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a. Nothing others do is because of you.<\/p>\n<p>b. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream.<\/p>\n<p>c. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won&#8217;t be the victim of needless suffering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. DON&#8217;T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a. Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want.<\/p>\n<p>b. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama.<\/p>\n<p>c. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n4. ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a. Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick.<\/p>\n<p>b. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kashmirnetwork.com\/justju\/images\/fifth.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Don Miguel Ruiz&#8217;s son, Don Jose Ruiz, has subsequently released a sequel with his father, &#8216;The Fifth Agreement&#8217;, which adds a further agreement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.
