{"id":1530,"date":"2022-05-06T12:27:57","date_gmt":"2022-05-06T06:57:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kashmirnetwork.com\/justju\/?p=1530"},"modified":"2022-05-06T23:04:17","modified_gmt":"2022-05-06T17:34:17","slug":"a-hundred-years-after","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirnetwork.com\/justju\/?p=1530","title":{"rendered":"A Hundred Years After"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In an <a href=\"http:\/\/kashmirnetwork.com\/justju\/?p=1394\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">earlier post<\/a>, I referenced <strong>\u2018Ancient Monuments of Kashmir\u2018<\/strong> by <strong>Ram Chandra Kak<\/strong>, the former Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmir (and erstwhile Superintendent of Archaeology) to confirm the provenance of the inscription:<\/p>\n<p><em>Agar Firdaus bar roy-e zamin ast,<br \/>\nhamin ast-o hamin ast-o hamin ast.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>While going through his earlier book <strong>&#8216;Photographs of Kashmir Monuments and Antiquities&#8217;<\/strong> published in <strong>1921<\/strong>, I realised that some of the views looked quite familiar.
